Stumpner’s Building Services was founded in 1984 by Richard Stumpner, following several years of experience in the construction industry. Since then, we’ve been proud to build custom homes throughout the Bloomington area, earning a strong reputation for our commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Starting in 2006, Loren Stumpner has been involved in every aspect of the company and has more recently taken over day to day operations.

In recent years, our focus has expanded to include energy-efficient and sustainable construction practices. We’re also passionate about advancing solar energy in the Bloomington community. Since 2007, we’ve been conducting solar site assessments and installing photovoltaic arrays across the region.

We believe the future must be built sustainably, and that belief shapes the direction of our company.
